Unable to open ChemDraw for Excel documents created with previous versions

After upgrading to the latest version of ChemDraw, you may get prompted with the following error after removing the previous version and while opening Excel documents created with an older version:

Selecting Update will prompt you to locate the original XLA file.  If you select "Don't Update" the ChemDraw for Excel features on the document will not work.

To resolve this problem, please download the file corresponding to the version of ChemDraw that was used to create the document and the version of MS Office installed on your computer (32-bit or 64-bit).  The version of MS Office may vary from the version of Windows.

To use the downloaded patch, right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator".  Click "YES" if asked to allow the file to make changes to your computer.

After you run the file, restart MS Excel and try opening the file again.  If prompted to, use the "Update" button again and it should work fine this time.
