Signals Notebook: Create a Worksheet template from the Signals Configuration

2️⃣ Worksheet Templates ➡ select [Create Template]
3️⃣ Create Worksheet Template ➡ type Name* Description  4️⃣ Create Worksheet Template ➡ select  [Create Worksheet]

Supporting Knowledge

Any free text with the preferred format can be added to the Worksheet to define the desired structure. A few recommendations:

• Design the Worksheet with a clear layout using titles in bold letters.
• Insert a table to facilitate data entry.
• Keep in mind that this text cannot be modified by the end user; this will be a fixed layout in experiments.

Depending on the field type selected, the Admin will need to configure a few other settings: 

• Decide if the value must be cleared when element is copy-pasted.
• Lock the field after the value is entered will prevent the user from modifying the original value unless they provide an acceptable reason.
• Decide whether to enable Prevent signing the experiment if this field is empty.
• If the field type is a number or a number with unit, the Admin can define conditions to allow only numbers that belong to a certain range.
