Signals Notebook: Error message "This operation fails due to invalid input data or misconfiguration" when attempting to import compounds into the the Reagents(SNB) material library

This error message can happen when the file that is being uploaded is not in the correct format. Files for import into the Reagents(SNB) material library must be SDF files with UTF8 encoding, they also require:

1. A column containing structure information in molfile format
2. A column containing data for each required field
3. Date fields in format YYYY-MM-DD

You can generate a SDF file from an excel worksheet using ChemDraw for Excel or from a CSV file using ChemFinder.
