Signals VitroVivo: Create a new plate design from the Analysis tab of the Grid Plate Editor app

Prior to this task:

✔ Grid Plate Editor app must be opened.

*Required.

1️⃣ Grid Plate Editor – Analysis tab ➡ Add annotations on this layout ➡ select  [New plate design]
2️⃣ Create Plate Layout window ➡ type/select Name* Description Zero padding Row letters Number of plates Number of wells 3️⃣ Create Plate Layout window ➡ select  [Ok]
4️⃣ Grid Plate Editor – Design section ➡ select  [Save]

Supporting Knowledge

Note: If the imported table was mapped with the Row letters for Rows in the Data Import app, the Row letters toggle will be “on” by default; otherwise, the toggle will be “off” by default.

Note: For the number of wells, the maximum number of rows or columns supported when using a custom layout is 5,000.

Note: The user can cancel the plate design creation by selecting the  [Cancel] button from the Grid Plate Editor – Design section.

Note: It is possible to use and create multiple designs, so when using multiple designs, the plate match column dropdown will be available to match the plate type for a multiplate design.
