If you are attempting to run the Spotfire for Signals Portable through Parallels on a Mac the software may fail on initialization with the following error:
Error message: Global and user services could not be initialized. The application will close.

Depending on where you uncompress TIBCO_Spotfire_for_Signals_Portable.zip and launch the Spotfire.EXP.exe an additional directory is created which then effects the initialization.
To workaround the issue please move the TIBCO_Spotfire_for_Signals_Portable.zip to the C : drive. Uncompress and then run the executable form this location.
Please bear in mind that the running of Spotfire for Signals Portable through Parallels on a Mac is not tested by the Revvity team. Depending on the age of your Mac you may also need to consider:
