When trying to access TIBCO Cloud Spotfire (https://spotfire-next.cloud.tibco.com) in your web browser, you may get an error like "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" or "External error: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel" and the page will fail to load. For example:

This applies to the web client as well as the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client, as it uses the default browser to connect.
Resolution:
Spotfire has removed support for TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.0 and 1.1 so connections can only be made using TLS 1.2. Make sure that all browsers used have TLS 1.2 enabled. Some older browser versions cannot support TLS 1.2 so they must be updated to the following versions or higher:
