Signals Notebook: Open the HELM Editor Toolbar

Prior to this task:

✔ Experiment must be created.

✔ ChemDraw Document must be added to an experiment.

✔ At least one HELM Monomer library must be available.

1️⃣ Signals Dashboard ➡ select [Experiments]
2️⃣ Experiments ➡ select experiment
3️⃣ Experiment Contents pane ➡ select ["chemdraw document name"]
4️⃣ ChemDraw Document section ➡ select canvas ➡ select [Show HELM Editor]

Supporting Knowledge

After at least one HELM Monomer Library is activated, users with access will be able to:

• Access the HELM editor in any ChemDraw Canvas.
• Add biopolymer building blocks and enter a text string in several formats to insert a HELM structure to the canvas.
• Replace or deprecate a monomer in an existing biopolymer.
• Make selections in different libraries and monomer types.
