Signals Notebook: Set up an ID sequence for a Material from the Signals Configuration

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Materials]
2️⃣ Material Types pane ➡ select Material library ➡ select ID Sequence
3️⃣ ID Sequence section ➡ type Material sequence format* ➡ select [Update format]  Batch/lot sequence format* ➡ select [Update format]

Supporting Knowledge

• The ID Sequence must be defined for each material library and can differ from library to library.
• Format examples are provided in the ID Sequence section. The Format must contain hashtag symbols inside curly brackets defining the number of digits, which are added by selecting the [Update Format] icon; the Format might contain a free text prefix or suffix.
• Administrators can define a starting number for the library by entering the number inside the curly brackets, e.g., {0050}.
