Supporting Knowledge
- The Material Table must be configured before a new column can be added.
- To add columns related to existing Material Fields, select the type Material Record Field.
- If users select Hidden by Default for a column, that column will be hidden when the user adds a Materials Table to an Experiment, but the user can unhide the column.
- If Always Shown is checked, the column will always be shown, and the user will not be able to hide the column.
- When a Material Table definition is modified, changes will not be reflected in existing Material Tables added to Experiments; users must delete the existing table and add it again to see new added columns.
