Supporting Knowledge
Notes:
- The Automap feature matches the Spotfire data table columns with the Inventa attributes based solely on their names; therefore, manual adjustments might be needed after automapping.
- Validation checks whether the types of data to be published (attribute types) are compatible with those expected by Signals Inventa. If they are incompatible, a summary is displayed, and the user is prompted to take action(s) to resolve the issues.
- When new datasets are created in a Signals Inventa Project, they can be deleted only through the Admin interface. When using the Publish Measurements app, the datasets can only be overwritten, not deleted.
- Caution: when selecting existing datasets, all data within the selected datasets will be overwritten with the currently published data.
