Due to the upcoming sunset of Signals Notebook Individual, some users have the need to migrate their data in .notebook format. Nevertheless, sometimes it is possible to face the error "Export to File failed".
Below you will find some procedures that could potentially fix this error.
- Clear your browser cache: In some occasions, data is stored in the web browser cache, which may lead to errors in the export process. In case you need assistance in clearing your cache, we recommend you to read the following article How to clear cache on different browsers?
- Use a different browser than the one you normally use: Complements such as ad-ons in the internet browser may cause interference with the correct functioning of Signals Notebook. Therefore, it would be advisable to use a browser in which no add-ons are installed and check if it is possible to perform the export process.
- Try to perform the export process with a different internet connection: Internet networks can potentially present fluctuations, which could lead to errors in the export process, so it is recommended to try this process with a different internet network.
-
Try to perform smaller export processes: The Signals Notebook export limit is 100 experiments per export process. However, in case the exported experiments contain a large amount of data and the internet speed is variable, it is possible that the export process exceeds the Signals Notebook timeout, leading to errors in the export process. you could try to export experiments 'From "1" to "10"' like the example below.
In case the error persists after trying these solutions or if you identify that the error pattern repeats with a specific notebook/experiment, please contact support for further assistance.
