Problem:
When activating ChemDraw, the following error message appears:
“Error talking to server..... Generic communications error” SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK error”
Solution:
The third-party vendor, Revenera, - hosting our Download Center and ChemDraw activation changed their SSL certificate issuer to AWS on February 4, 2025. If you have the old certificate installed on your machine, then you will get this error message during online activation.
To fix the problem, you need to update with the new certificates. The certificate is attached at the end of this article.
You can download the NEW Certificates from: FlexNet Operations SSL Certificates
- Download compliance.flexnetoperations.com.cer.zip and extract the contents
- You will find the following four Certificates
|
