Which Gestures can I use to manipulate models in the Chem3D app?


Solution:

  • • Single tap on an atom, bond or residue - toggles selection of the tapped object.
  • • Double tap in an empty space - deselects all selected objects.
  • • Double tap a selected object - moves that object to the center of the screen.
  • • Single finger drag - rotate the molecule around its centroid, or about the currently selected
  • • Two finger pinch - zooms the molecule in and out about its centroid, or about the currently selected object.
  • • Two finger drag - pans the molecule from side to side or up and down on the screen.
