Problem:
How can I create nanotubes in Chem3D?
Solution:
Use TubeGen http://deaddog.duch.udel.edu/~frey/research/tubegenonline.html to generate Cartesian coordinates. Then you can copy and paste this data directly into the Chem3D Cartesian Table (feature not available prior to version 9 of Chem3D) by right clicking in the Cartesian Table and choosing "Paste Cartesian". (Note: To see this menu, the Cartesian Table must be empty.)
