Problem:

When I try to display surfaces, the background becomes completely black so I cannot see the surfaces very well.


Solution:

The OPENGL32.DLL file is something that is installed by the operating system, and is required to display surfaces and orbitals. Microsoft has made an OpenGL fix available for Windows. Download this file, and run it to unzip it. Place the unzipped OpenGL32.dll file in your Windows\System folder (replacing the previous version), uninstall and then reinstall Chem3D.
