Product: ChemDraw
I have a Word document containing structures that were pasted in using ISIS Draw. Is there a way to double click on these and edit them with ChemDraw?
Yes. You need to make a change to your registry to change the double click behavior of ISIS structures in Word. Download the following ZIP file:
http://software.cambridgesoft.com/support/EditIsisUsingChemDraw.zip
Unzip these files. One file will change your registry and make ChemDraw the editing application. The other file will change your system so that ISIS can edit its own structures. Simply double click on the .reg file you want to implement.
Note, we believe these files to be safe, but there is always a risk editing your registry.
Also note, that once ChemDraw has edited a diagram, it then becomes a ChemDraw diagram from that point forward, and ISIS will not be able to edit it any more.
