In Chemdraw Items, I have replaced the standard CS ChemDraw HotKeys.txt file with my own file (by using the standard txt file, modifying it and then saving it). When I open ChemDraw (after restarting my computer) and try to use the Hotkeys, I get the erro

Problem:

In Chemdraw Items, I have replaced the standard CS ChemDraw HotKeys.txt file with my own file (by using the standard txt file, modifying it and then saving it). When I open ChemDraw (after restarting my computer) and try to use the Hotkeys, I get the error message: "CS ChemDraw HotKeys.txt" must be saved as a plain text file.


Solution:

Open CS ChemDraw HotKeys.txt in MS Word, and then save it from MS Word as a Plain Text file. This should resolve the problem.
