During the installation of the 8.0 Plugin to Netscape 7.1, I receive the following error message: "failure launchappandwait".

During the installation of the 8.0 Plugin to Netscape 7.1, I receive the following error message: "failure launchappandwait".

Netscape 7.0 was the latest version at the time the 8.0 Plugin was released. Netscape appears to have changed something in 7.1 that is preventing the installer from working correctly. You should be able to ignore this error and continue with the install. After the install you will need to move some files to the correct location in order for the Plugin to work.

Our 8.0 installer creates a seperate folder under your \Program Files\Netscape\ folder called \Netscape with a component and plugin folder. Copy these ChemDraw Plugin files from those folders into the corresponding folders in the \Netscape\Netscape7.1\ folder and it should then work.
