It may be that the installer technology on your system needs to be updated. Our recent installers use the 1.x Microsoft install technology. You can obtain the 2.x version from Microsoft at:

Follow the directions on this page for downloading and installing. Once installed, try to install our software again. Please note that Windows XP already uses version 2.0, so it is not necessary for Windows XP users to do this.
