I'm trying to install ChemDraw Ultra, but about 70% of the way through the Copying Files task I get "internal error 2359".

It is possible that our installer is trying to install the ChemFinder for Excel Add-in and can't because Excel or part of MS Office is on a write-protected drive. If you have MS Office on any write-protected drives, you should do a custom install and NOT install ChemFinder for Excel Add-in. To get the ChemFinder for Excel Add-in to install, download and unzip the following file:

Otherwise, we will need you to generate a log file to figure out what is going on. To generate a log file:

Go to the Start Menu and choose Run, and then type the following:

msiexec /i "D:\INSTALL\CS ChemDraw Ultra 6.0.Msi" /l*v log.log

where "D" is the letter of your cd-rom drive containing the ChemDraw Ultra cd-rom. The click OK to generate the log file. The installation log file that gets generated is called log.log. Use the Windows Find File utility to find it, and then send it to support@camsoft.com
