The cursor icon does not change when different drawing tools are selected.

This is a video driver conflict.  Retest the problem in Safe Mode (or VGA MODE for Windows NT).  If the problem does not occur in Safe/VGA Mode,  we recommend contacting the manufacturer of your video driver to see if there is a more recent driver available (which you can usually download from their web site for free).

Other options are to:

1. Open your Display control panel and switch your adapater to the Standard or Super VGA driver that comes with Windows.

2. For Windows 2000, turn off mouse pointer shadow.

3. For Windows 9x, slow down the Hardware acceleration to 3/4 from full.
