Problem:

Text appears differently on screen compared to when I typed it in.


Solution:

When text appears in a document on the screen, it can appear using a bitmap or a TrueType font. Text drawn using Bitmap fonts looks better and appears more quickly then text using TrueType fonts. To use Bitmap fonts if they are available, select the "Use Bitmap Fonts When Available" option in the ChemDraw Preferences (File menu). However, the size and position of text drawn using Bitmap fonts change somewhat when printed. Turn this option off for an accurate correspondence between what you see on screen and what is printed. Note that the ChemDraw Preferences affect all documents.
