I get an "Out of Memory" or "Low Memory" warning while using the program.

Allocate more memory to the CS application being used. To do this, first make sure the application is not running. Click once on the application icon. Go to the File menu and select Get Info. Increase the preferred memory to 1000K or more for ChemDraw. Close the dialog box for the changes to take effect and then launch the application.

Note: If you can't change the preferred memory, you still have the application running and you must quit the application before making changes to its memory. If there are no memory options available when you select Get Info, it is probably because you have selected a folder or alias rather than the actual application. Make sure you choose the application (the icon that launches the program). In the Get Info box, there is a "Kind" description which describes if the icon selected is an application, folder, alias, etc. Be sure that this says application.
