I cannot launch ChemFinder. When I choose to open it, nothing happens.

Problem:

I cannot launch ChemFinder. When I choose to open it, nothing happens.


Solution:

We are aware of a problem caused by a Symantec firewall product called Endpoint Protection (also known as Protection Agent) that can cause this to happen. Removing the Application and Devices Manager components may correct the problem. Removing the Symantec firewall software may also solve the problem. This issue has been reported to Symantec Support, however, we encourage all Symantec users seeing this problem to contact Symantec Support to increase the chances of this problem being fixed by them.
