What order does ChemFinder use to sort formulas?


Solution:

Sorting the formula orders the records as follows:

1. Formulas for compounds without carbon are sorted in alphabetical order.
2. Formulas for compounds containing carbon are sorted by increasing C-H-N count followed alphabetically by any other elements.
