Problem:
How can I use Lipinski's Rule?
Solution:
You will need to have the ChemFinder for Excel Add-In to access Lipinski's Rule. If you have ChemFinder for Excel, do the following procedure:
1. Download and unstuff Lipinski.bas and place it in the ChemOffice folder, i.e. C:\Program Files\ChemOffice 2001\Common\Xla
2. Start Excel with the ChemFinder for Excel Add-In loaded.
3. Start Tools>Macros>VisualBasic for Applications
4. File>Import - import lipinski.bas
5. Save and close vb editor
To use:
1. Create a Chemfinder for Excel spreadsheet
2. Add structures
3. In a blank column, insert funtion
4. Select UserDefined functions
5. Select Lipinski (Book1.xls!Lipinski.Lipinski or something similar)
6. Provide cell or cell range
The output is True or False
