Product: ChemFinder
Product: ChemFinder
Problem:
When installing, I get an error stating: CDXLIB.DLL file cannot start. Check the file to determine problem. The installation completes, but ChemFinder will not launch.
Solution:
Only ChemFinder uses the CDXLIB.DLL. Certain versions of ChemFinder require a specific version of the CDXLIB.DLL. If you installed a newer version of our software, then tried to reinstall and older version this problem might occur. Basically, newer versions of the CDXLIB.DLL are not compatible with older versions of ChemFinder. You would need to manually delete the CDXLIB.DLL and then reinstall the old software. First uninstall the newer version of our software, then do a Find File for CDXLIB.DLL, delete it, then reinstall the older version of our software.
