Problem:

Whenever I try to import a ChemDraw file, a message after starting the CD File Translator appears:

"...ChemDraw File Translation got an error: the chemical structures contained in "File Name" could not be translated because it is an unrecognizable version."


Solution:

The CD Translator does not understand the latest ChemDraw file format. It only understands ChemDraw 3.x and below file formats. Resave your ChemDraw file as a ChemDraw 3.x document to resolve the problem.
