Problem:

I have been trying to open the TCI or Acros Organics or Lancaster catalog, however, when I try to open a database from one of these CD-ROMs, Chemfinder gives me the following error message:

form version 12 not recognized, this version recognizes only 2-7

Solution:

ChemFinder Pro 4.0 or below will not be able to open a database from one of these CD-ROMs. You must install and use the version of ChemFinder that comes with one of these CD-ROMs (ChemFinder Net 4.1). If you did install it, it may be that an older version of ChemFinder is launching, instead of version 4.1. Do a Find File for "cfw.exe" If you find more than one, double click on the 4.1 version. You can determine the version by right clicking on cfw.exe, choose Properties, and then click on the "Version" tab.
