Problem:

When I try to use ChemFinder, I get an error message saying that AppleScript is not available.


Solution:

AppleScript must be installed in order for ChemFinder to work. For ChemOffice 4.5-3.5, you can use the ChemOffice installer to do a Custom Install of AppleScript.

For ChemFinder 2.0 or less, make sure you have installed the disk marked AppleScript. The AppleScript disk is a separate disk from the ChemOffice or ChemFinder package. It is made by Apple, but distributed by us. You will not be prompted to install this disk during the installation of our software. Therefore, you must install this disk after the installation of our software.
