Problem:
Can I delete a user account from Columbus?
Solution:
No, it is not possible to delete a user account.
Currently the only option is to render the user account inactive.
- login to Columbus as the admin/root user via the webUI
- go to the 'Administration' menu > 'Users and Groups'
- click on the 'Users' tab
- click on the Username of the user you wish to de-activate
- uncheck the checkbox marked 'Active' and click 'Save'
Please note that by rendering the user inactive it does not delete/remove the associated user data. If you wish to delete all of the associated data, you must do that manually either via the delete operation through the Columbus web UI or via the command line delete option here.
