Problem:

Can I add a link to a web address to my Dashboard?


Solution:

An external URL can be added to the dashboard as a widget. To do so please follow these steps:

  1. Log into Signals Notebook
  2. Go to the Dashboards settings
  3. Add new 'Web View' widget
  4. For source select 'link'
  5. In the URL box paste the web address
    • Ensure the URL is valid and can be loaded by the browser
    • Ensure the URL starts with https:// or it will not be loaded by the application
  6. Click 'Add Widget'
