How to resolve *.cab warnings when installing Spotfire analyst
When installing Spotfire Analyst one may encounter lot of *.cab warnings and the installation may not succeed.
Example:

Windows has found a problem with this file.
Name: Core.cab
Publisher: Unknown Publisher
OK
This file was blocked because it does not have a valid digital signature that verifies its publisher. What is a digital signature?

- Open Internet Explorer.
- On the menu bar, click Tools and select Internet Options.
- In the Internet Options window, go to the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down and check Allow software to run or install even if the signature is invalid. (If it is already checked, toggle it: Remove the check mark and click OK to save it. Start again at step one. When you reach step four, put a check mark on it again.)
- Click OK to save the settings.
- Click on OK to close and try installing Spotfire analyst again.
NOTE:
The Internet settings may be grayed out depending on the group policies. In such cases, contact the local IT Team/Windows Administrator.
NOTE:
Issues like these have been noticed in the past where Internet connection is disabled on Workstations/Windows severs. This leads to scenarios where-in the Windows Updates have not been run and the Windows certificates store is not up to date.
