Operators in the workflow may fail to execute with "Could not obtain block" error


Solution:

Operators in the workflow may fail to execute with the following error:

Execution of 'germancredit.csv' failed. Error details: Could not obtain block: BP-2107418947-10.0.1.106-1512415333271:blk_1075839792_2099027 file=/germancredit.csv
================================== Here are few aspects to validate that can help resolving this issue:

  1. Check the cluster status of the datasource associated with the workflow.
  2. Ensure that the cluster is in good health
  3. Restart the Cluster
NOTE:  In case of multiple nodes in the cluster, make sure that all the nodes are up and running.
