Problem:

Defect in Spotfire 10.0: When opening an information link from the library, it executes the SQL before load options are displayed


Solution:

When opening an Information link via "Add Files and Data" flyout, an SQL query is sent to fetch all data before the summary view with loading options appear.
This may result in a long delay if the information link fetches a large amount of data, before being able to choose which particular data to load.

This is a known defect in Spotfire 10.0. This defect is fixed in Spotfire version 10.1. TS-57368
