The option to edit a report/analysis file is not visible in Spotfire Web Player for Business Authors
This knowledge base article will help you resolve issue where the EDIT option within an analysis/report is unavailable for Web Player users. By default, users with Business Author license should be able to EDIT an analysis file when opened in the Web Player. But in some cases, the option may not be enabled.
- Launch the Spotfire Analyst.
- Open the Analysis File OR the report where the user had reported the problem. (EDIT button is not available).
- Click on the "EDIT" menu > Select "Document Properties" > Go to "Library" TAB .
> Check on if "Allow authoring in web clients" is enabled or not.
> If not, check the box and click OK.
> Now re-save the Analysis.
