A Scheduled Updates file update fails with the error message "@@Analysis changed in the library, will attempt to update again" seen in the Scheduling & Routing Activity tab
A Scheduled Updates file update fails with the error message "@@Analysis changed in the library, will attempt to update again" seen in the "Scheduling & Routing" > "Activity" tab. For example:
This message will be seen when the analysis has been updated in the library which causes that message to be displayed, and the report is being updated again. For example, consider an analysis file using a Data Connector which does not have the credentials saved with the connection which is then added to a Scheduled Updates file rule. This file will fail to load in Scheduled Updates since there are no credentials for the data connection. If the report is then edited, by editing the data connection and saving the credentials stored with the connection, and the report is then saved back to the library, then this "@@Analysis changed in the library, will attempt to update again." message would be displayed.
For Spotfire 7.9 and lower no action is required since when that message is displayed the analysis is currently updating and the status will update again once the scheduled update is complete.
For Spotfire 7.10.0 and higher, the error message is changed to "Update analysis failed and will be retried". If the report continues to fail on the subsequent retry after the analysis update is done, then look in the Worker Host debug logs of the Web Player to see the exact reason why the report failed. If further assistance is required, contact TIBCO support.
