Error message while deploying the JSViz package: Package 'JSViz Logging Package' has an unresolved assembly reference: 'log4net, version 1.2.11.0' is referenced by 'SpotfirePS.LoggingUtil.dll'.

While deploying the JSViz package or after Spotfire upgrade, you may encounter the below error: Package 'JSViz Logging Package' has an unresolved assembly reference: 'log4net, version 1.2.11.0' is referenced by 'SpotfirePS.LoggingUtil.dll'. Follow the below steps:

1) Take a copy of the deployment area and then remove the old references of JavaScriptVisualizations.

2) Save the deployment area. Now add the desired JSViz package in the deployment area. Click on "Validate" and then "Save" it.

Note: Make sure that the JSViz package which you are trying to deploy is compatible with Spotfire version i.e. release 2.4 of JSViz(jsviz_2.4.0.7_05-08-2017_1.zip) is compatible with Spotfire 6.5 and Spotfire 7.0 whereas release 3.4 is compatible with Spotfire 7.5 onwards. https://community.tibco.com/modules/jsviz-javascript-visualization-framework-tibco-spotfirer
