Find Deprecated Operators
Minimum Alpine Version |
6.2 |
---|
When you upgrade your Spotfire Data Science instance to one where we've removed operators, some of your old workflows may not run anymore. You will need to remove the offending operators before your workflow will run again. To make this easier, we provide a script to help you find and weed out deprecated operators in your Spotfire Data Science installation. Your system admin can run this when installing or upgrading Spotfire Data Science so you can find any workflows that need to be updated.
You can also use this at any time by invoking the chorus_control.sh configure
script.
Note: This tool is not configured for use with SSL-enabled instances. If you want to use this tool, be sure you run it before enabling SSL on your instance.

->Scanning for deprecated operators...
INFO : finished the scan for deprecated operators, please check report at: /tmp/deprecated_operator_list.csv
When complete, a list of workflows with deprecated operators will be written to a CSV file at /tmp/deprecated_operator_list.csv
.
While this tool does not remove the deprecated operators for you, it alerts you to which workflows have deprecated operators so you can take the appropriate action. We provide this information:
Workflow Name/Workfile ID | Owner/UID | Last Modified | Deprecated Operator | File Path |
---|---|---|---|---|
The ID of the workflow, and if available, the name of the workflow. | The user ID of the workflow's owner, and if available, the name of the owner. | The date the workflow was last modified. | The name of the operator that needs to be removed. | The file path for the AFM file that contains the workflow. |
