Problem:

How to hide/remove color strip present inside the title bar of any visualization.


Solution:


In TIBCO Spotfire Analyst, if more than one data table is present then Spotfire displays a color bar/strip on the left hand side of the title bar for the visualizations. (Reference Image - "Color-Strip.PNG").

Visualizations using the same data table or related data tables will display the same color on the color strip. The true color of the color strip is only visible for the active visualization and any related visualizations. All unrelated visualizations are shown with a gray color strip until activated.

Resolution

Open TIBCO Spotfire Analyst >> Edit Menu >> Document Properties >> General Tab >> Uncheck - Show a color strip for related tables.
