Problem:

Where the TIBCO Spotfire Connector for Oracle looks to see if the required driver is installed.


Solution:


When installing the ODAC (ODP.NET) driver required for the connector, it registers the installations in the registry under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET

This is also where the TIBCO Spotfire Connector for Oracle looks to see if the driver is properly installed on the system.
