Is there a way to have the page setup set to the landscape by default in ChemDraw?

There are two ways to achieve this:

Create a StyleSheet/Stationery document where the Page Setup has been set to Landscape.
Open up a new document with the desired text and bond settings. Go to the Page Setup and choose Landscape. Choose Save As from the File menu. Use the Style Sheet (Windows) or Stationery (Mac) file format and be sure to save it to the Stationery or Style Sheet folder (ChemDraw Items folder for older versions of ChemDraw).

Now each time you open this style sheet/stationery document you will start with Landscape. You would need to create other Landscape Style Sheets/Stationery documents for other text and bond setting documents you wish to open in Landscape as this option is Style Sheet/Stationery specific.

Alter your printer control panel.
Like other applications, ChemDraw/ChemBioDraw get the page setup information from your printer driver (installed on your machine). The default setting for any printer is Portrait but you can change the setting inside of the printer properties to landscape by the following way.

Open the control panel > printers and hardware > view installed printers or fax printers > right click your printer > select printing preferences and make your changes (i.e Landscape under Layout Tab).
