Stereochemical assignments from perspective drawings can be problematic since they change if the drawing is rotated.
You can create a registry setting that will turn off interpretation of perspective stereochemistry.
Adding a "REG_DWORD" value named "Disable Interpretation of Perspective Stereochemistry" with value 0x00000001 to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CambridgeSoft\ChemDrawConst\12.0\General\
will cause ChemBioDraw to ignore the interpretation of perspective stereochemistry. This preference will have no effect, either positive or negative, on the interpretation of (a) Haworth projections, (b) Fischer projections, (c) cumulenes and cumulenic structures, (d) hindered biaryls, or (e) stereobonds of any type (solid wedged, hashed wedged, etc) in other types of diagrams. If you need assistance creating this registry entry, please contact Support.
