Problem:

Structures displayed on screen with the Plugin do not appear in the printout when I print the web page.


Solution:

This is a Netscape and IE browser issue, not a ChemDraw Plugin specific problem.

According to the Netscape 4.0.x release notes, printing documents with plugins does not work properly.  See http://home.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/4.0/relnotes/windows-4.0.html This problem has been resolved in Netscape 4.5.

This is also a Microsoft documented problem. Please see http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q216/4/94.ASP The problem does not occur in IE 5.0.

Note: You can print just the structures (assuming you are not using a free demo version of the Plugin) by right clicking in the structure area and choosing Print from the pop-out menu.
