Problem:

I can't edit ChemDraw structures in Adobe Illustrator.


Solution:

Illustrator (7.0) can open ChemDraw eps files directly without any need for conversion.

Otherwise: 1. Save a file from ChemDraw as EPS, run it through epsConverter, and import it into Illustrator. You will have a fully editable structured drawing that you can now edit in Illustrator.

2. There is an easier way if you have system 7.5. Simply print your file from ChemDraw to disk and you are then given various options including "Eps File with Enhanced Preview". You can then open this file in Illustrator and do your editing.
