Problem:
I have an SD File containing a field that I want to split into two separate fields. For example, field1 has data A, B. Is there any way to split this so thatA has its own field and B has its own field when importing into ChemFinder?
Solution:
Import the SD File into ChemFinder for Excel. In Excel, it is trivial to split a text field. Just use Data\Text to Columns, go through the wizard setting "-" as the delimiter, and voila...two columns. Add a column name, and then export as an SD file for importing into ChemFinder.
