Problem:

When launching ChemFinder an error window appears:
Source file c:\Program Files\....\chemfinder\system\PTcust.txt
Error reading Per. Table line 8 .......
Source line Expected a real number, found 1.0097


Solution:

If you are using an international Windows environment, your system could be expecting the data in PTcust.txt to be using international numbering instead of US numbering. Try changing the decimals to commas in the PTcust.txt file. For example, 1.0079 would become 1,0079. Tip: you can open the PTcust.txt file in WordPad and use the Replace command in the Edit menu to replace all decimals with commas.
