Problem:

How to upgrade TIBCO Spotfire Data Science from 6.4.0 to later versions?

Solution:

This KBA illustrates the process of upgrading TIBCO Spotfire Data Science from 6.4.0 to 6.4.1 but the same process can be used for any of the later versions. To upgrade TIBCO Spotfire Data Science from 6.4.0 to 6.4.1

1. Stop the application
chorus_control.sh stop

2. Download the 6.4.1 install file (TIB_sfire-dsc_6.4.1_lin_x86_64.sh) from the https://perkinelmerinformatics.flexnetoperations.com website, make it an executable file by running chmod +x TIB_sfire-dsc_6.4.1_lin_x86_64.sh and run the script file ./TIB_sfire-dsc_6.4.1_lin_x86_64.sh

3. Start the application the application once you successfully run the 6.4.1 installer file.
