How to upgrade Java version in TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services (TSSS)

Steps to upgrade Java version in TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services (TSSS) - Stop the TSSS service
- The /jre folder in TSSS is an off-the-shelf copy of the Java JRE
- Remove (or rename) the existing TSSS_HOME/jre folder
- Download the latest JAVA version from vendor's website
e.g: Download new Java 8 JRE from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
- Unzip the downloaded ZIP file. Here you will find 'jre' folder
- Copy the 'jre' folder in the TSSS_HOME directory
- Start the TSSS service

NOTE: Ensure the JAVA version is compatible with TSSS. Refer below System requirements for TIBCO Spotfire® Statistics Services service and TIBCO® Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition
