Problem:
Unable to connect to TIBCO Spotfire Cloud server URL from TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client with. ERROR: Invalid or missing CSRF token (HRESULT: 80131509).
Solution:
When logging in with existing an TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client pointing to the production TIBCO Spotfire Cloud URL (https://spotfire.cloud.tibco.com), it fails to connect with error "Invalid or missing CSRF token (HRESULT: 80131509)." This is caused by a conflict with cookies in Internet Explorer interfering with connection.

- Uninstall the existing installed TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client.
- Download the latest version of the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client from your user account.
- Run the MSI Installer TIBCO-Spotfire-Cloud-Analyst-Setup.exe
- Run the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst from Program Files with your Spotfire Cloud user credentials.
This can also be resolved by clearing the cookies in IE.
To delete cookies in the desktop, open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the task bar. Tap or click the Tools button, point to Safety, and then tap or click Delete browsing history. Select the Cookies and website data check box, and then tap or click Delete.
